I'll be in the United Kingdom 17-23 September, touring for WORDS IN THE DUST.

Welcome to my brand new website! It's been a long time since I've updated things here.Now the site has a totally new look and lots more to explore.

Much has happened for me and for my writing since the last update. My first novel, WORDS IN THE DUST has received kind reviews. Some major newspapers including the Los Angeles Times and USA Today have interviewed me for articles. I was even on the Today show. You can learn more about all of that through photos, articles, and videos throughout my site.

I'm pleased to be able to tell you that I'm now hard at work on my second novel, currently called STEALING AIR. It's a middle grade adventure story about three sixth-grade boys from Iowa, who discover friendship while they work together in a secret workshop, building a cool flying machine.
